Ombudsman visited Higher Military School of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

According to the Action Plan agreed between the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva and the Ministry of Defense, Command of Interior Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Command of Civil Defense Troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the visits paid by the Ombudsman and staff members of the Ombudsman Office to military units, military educational and medical facilities are continued on a regular basis.

The Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva and the staff of the Office have inspected the Higher Military School of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in compliance with the existing rules of the pandemic.

During the visit, the Chief of the Higher Military School informed the Ombudsman about the historical background and activities of the facility, the organization of education, as well as graduates of the School, who participated in the Patriotic War and were awarded.

The Ombudsman inspected the educational building of the Higher Military School, the cadet dormitory, the canteen, and got acquainted with the recreation and living conditions created for the cadets.

While in the canteen, the Ombudsman met with civilians working there and familiarized with the current situation.

During the meeting, a number of cadets who distinguished in education were awarded souvenirs with the logo of the Ombudsman.

The Ombudsman discussed with the Chief of the Higher Military School and administrative personnel of the facility the prospects for further expansion of the cooperation.
