Letters of Appreciation to the Ombudsman

1. Citizen: M.S

Citizen M.S. contacted the Ombudsman’s 916 Call Center, reporting that his son was being unlawfully detained at the Police Station No. 33 of the Surakhani District Police Office and requested assistance to address the issue.

Following the intervention of the Ombudsman, his son was released, and the applicant thanked  the Commissioner for helping to address the matter.

2. Citizen: D.I.

Citizen D.I. appealed to the Ombudsman, requesting assistance in obtaining compensation for damages from Ataşgah Insurance.

With the support of the Ombudsman, the insurance company compensated the damages, and the applicant expressed gratitude to the Commissioner for the support provided.

3. Citizen: A.V.

Citizen A.V. called the Ombudsman’s 916 Call Center, reporting that his complaint to the 102 Service regarding offensive language used by unidentified individuals at a café was not investigated objectively and requested a review of the matter.

As a result of the Ombudsman’s action, the issue was addressed, and the applicant expressed gratitude to the Commissioner for the assistance.

4. Citizen: R.H.

Citizen R.H. contacted the Ombudsman’s 916 Call Center, reporting that his nephew, a participant in the Patriotic War, has been detained by the Sabunchu District Police Department and brought before the Sabunchu District Court for a relevant decision. Despite the court ruling for his release, he was not freed and was instead taken to the Police Station No. 15 of the Sabunchu District Police Office. The applicant requested an investigation into the matter.

The applicant expressed gratitude to the Commissioner for the prompt investigation of the appeal and the assistance provided in resolving the issue.

5. Citizen: R.H.

Citizen Kh.E. appealed to the Ombudsman, requesting assistance with being discharged from military service.

With the intervention of the Ombudsman, the applicant was discharged; therefore, he sent a letter of gratitude to the Commissioner for the help.

6. Citizen: M.V.

Citizen M.V. appealed to the Ombudsman, stating that his father had been suffering from liver cirrhosis for a long time and requested assistance in ensuring an urgent surgery.

With the intervention of the Ombudsman, the applicant’s father underwent the necessary surgery, and the applicant thanked the Commissioner for assistance.

7. B.C. - Citizen of Armenian origin of the Republic of Azerbaijan

An Azerbaijani citizen of Armenian origin, B.C., appealed to the Ombudsman, requesting assistance in obtaining an identity document (ID).

With the support of the Ombudsman, the applicant was provided with the ID document and expressed gratitude to the Commissioner for the support.

8. Citizen: Q.A

Citizen G.A. contacted the Ombudsman’s 916 Call Center, expressing dissatisfaction with being informed about his impending dismissal from the Military Ship Repair Yard No. 328 of the Ministry of Defense.

Through the involvement of the Ombudsman, the applicant was not dismissed and thanked the Commissioner for the help.

9. Citizen: E.M.

Citizen E.M. expressed gratitude to Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva for assisting in the employment of his child.

10. Citizen: G.Z.

Citizen G.Z. called the Ombudsman’s 916 Call Center and thanked the Commissioner for the assistance provided in obtaining targeted state social assistance for his family.
