Ganja Regional Center held a videoconference regarding the role of youth in protecting human rights

The Ombudsman's Ganja Regional Center held a videoconference titled "The role of youth in the protection of human rights" with participation of Goranboy and Naftalan Youth and Sport departments as part of the Human Rights Month-long Campaign.

The head of Ganja Regional Center, Sabuhi Abbasov conveyed the Commissioner's greetings to the participants and highlighted the significance of measures undertaken for the protection of human rights. He has mentioned that the President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues the state youth policy initiated by the national leader Heydar Aliyev, young people take a significant place in all spheres of social life. He added that legal awareness of young people has visibly increased thanks to the implementation of actions reflected in the State Program "Azerbaijani Youth in years 2017-2021".

The heads of abovementioned Youth and Sport departments, Elshad Hasanov and Samir Gojayev spoke about the state youth policy implemented under the leadership of the President Ilham Aliyev and the achievements made in this sphere.

The videoconference proceeded in form of interactive discussions.
