The Office of Ombudsman of Azerbaijan donated to the Fund to Support Fight Against Coronavirus

Within the frames of the high-level urgent measures carried out in the country aimed at prevention of and struggle with the spread of new type Coronavirus (COVID-19), Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree on measures regarding the protection of health of population and strengthening the fight against coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the country and under this Decree the Fund to Support Fight Against Coronavirus with the aim to stem the spread of coronavirus and provide financial assistance to measures being implemented in order to prevent the spread of the infection in Azerbaijan.

Numerous legal and natural entities have donated several amount of sum to the Fund to Support Fight Against Coronavirus.

The Ombudsman Office also donated 30.000 AZN sum to this Fund in order to contribute to country-wide measures to fight Coronavirus.

This also should be noted that the Ombudsman addressed to the population with regard to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
