The Ombudsman visited the families of martyrs

Meetings of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva with war veterans and families of martyrs who took part in the Patriotic War continue and our servicemen, who undergo treatment are regularly visited.

The Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva and staff members of the Ombudsman Office have visited the families of martyrs who died in the Patriotic War - Lieutenant-Colonel Rashad Guliyev, Lieutenant-Colonel Garib Bakhshaliyev, and Lieutenant-Colonel Sadi Musayev.
Sevinj Orujova, the head of the Public Union "Zafar" for Support to Martyrs' Families, also attended the meeting.
The Ombudsman stressed that the martyrs of the 44-day war rose to the peak of martyrdom and liberated our occupied lands at the cost of their lives, and the Azerbaijani people are always grateful to our war veterans and martyrs. Sabina Aliyeva wished God's mercy upon all our martyrs, who wrote the pages of the heroism of our history and sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, and patience to the families of martyrs.

The Ombudsman learned the concerns of these families and said she would keep the raised issues under her control and take appropriate measures to resolve them.

In the end, the families of the martyrs have been presented parcels on behalf of the Ombudsman.
