An educational tool about ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities was prepared by the Ombudsman Office

During the activity of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the situation of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and issues of their protection are given special attention. Within the competencies, necessary measures are taken to address the problems of these individuals, who require as much care as possible.

December 3 - International Day of Persons with Disabilities is dedicated to promoting the rights of PWDs and bringing the attention of the broader public to the issues faced by this category of persons. For this reason, an educational tool about ensuring the rights of PWDs has been prepared by the Unit on the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the Ombudsman Office.
