On the eve of October 20-November 20, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva continued the traditional "Children's Rights” month-long campaign.
It should be noted that during this month, different state and local authorities have carried out various educational activities to protect and ensure the rights of the child.
Within this month-long campaign dedicated to an important day as the World Children's Day, the Ombudsman Office made a video based on the poem "A child was crying in my sleep tonight" by Azadeh Novruzova, a staff member of the Ombudsman Office, in honor of the dear souls of Azerbaijani children brutally killed by the Armenian armed forces.
The video contains photos and videos of innocent children who were targeted by the Armenian armed forces, depictions from the fact-finding missions of the Azerbaijani Ombudsman. The poem was recited by Honored Artist Husniyya Murvatova, whereas the subtitles were translated into Russian by Giya Pachkhatashvili and into English by Sevil Gulten. The author in the video with her artistic impression, calls on the world not to be indifferent to the cries of innocent victims of Armenian aggression, especially children.
