The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva submitted a request to the State Examination Center based on the appeals by a group of entrant students.
The Request underlined the challenges related to the pandemic period, including closures of general primary and secondary schools, restriction of group classes, which created problems for the entrants, difficulties in joining to online classes by entrants due to the lack of uninterrupted access to the internet, changing of the exam schedules, which consequent with the low scores in entrance exams for universities.
So, given that the request of the entrants and the measures taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus outbreak domestically as in all over the world, also the more stressful psychological situation of graduate students of the recent year in comparison to those of previous years, the Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva requested for easing the exam rules and providing appropriate assistance in connection with the situation.
