On December 9-20, 2019 training course on “Innovationand digital transformation of the public sector” was held by École Nationale d'Administration (ENA) in Paris, France. The course brought together 26 representatives working in state authorities in the field of managing public policy in 17 countries.
The international training concerned the issues like acquaitance of new methods in public policy, understanding problems and role of digital technologies, learning results on providing social services by using different innovative means. The Commissioner’s specialized advisor on child rights, Nigar Aghayeva also took part in this training. She spoke about the Presidential Decree “On measures related to development of e-government and transformation to digital government” dated March 14, 2018, activities carried out in Azerbaijan in this area, ASAN Service center, Sustainable and Operative Social Security (DOST)Agency,use of information and communication technologies in state bodies and in providing state services and application of innovative solutions among priorities of public policy. The participants were also informed about the activity of the Ombudsman Office, procedure of lodging complaints, including the hotline services operating in the institution.
At the end of the training course the representative of the Ombudsman Office was presented a certificate signed by the Director of the ENA, verifying her specialization on subject.
