A series of public awareness events were held by the Ombudsman’s Regional Centers during the ‘Child Rights Month Long Campaign’

The Ombudsman’s Northern, Western, and North-West Regional Centers organized a series of public awareness events during the "Child Rights Month Long Campaign".

In the events held in Shamakhi, Khizi, Sheki, Tovuz, Ganja, and Samukh districts, on themes "Let's Know Our Rights and Stay Away from Harmful Acts", "Negative Medical, Social, and Legal Consequences of Early Marriages", "Let's Learn and Know Our Rights", and "My Rights", it was said that the protection of children's rights is one of the main directions of the Ombudsman's activities, providing information about the work carried out in this field.

The events focused on issues regarding the protection of children from discrimination, violence, abuse, negligence, and harmful habits, as well as the existing legal norms on child rights.

At the end of the events, discussions on the topics were held, and questions of the participants were answered.
