A staff member of the Ombudsman Office spoke at the conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev

The Center for Legal Expertise and Legislative Initiatives held a scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev on the topic of “The legal reforms conducted by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and their significance."

At the conference attended by representatives from several state authorities, higher education institutions, non-governmental organizations, and media entities, the Head of the Unit in the Department for Cooperation with International and Civil Society Organizations of the Ombudsman Office of Azerbaijan, Mugalib Mahmudov, delivered a speech on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and reforms in the field of human rights in Azerbaijan.'"

During the speech, it was spoken about the achievements attained under the leadership of the distinguished public and political figure and statesman, Heydar Aliyev, such as the development of Azerbaijan's legal framework and institutional mechanisms on human rights, the preparation of the first state program, the establishment of the Ombudsman Institution, and others.
