The Ombudsman’s Regional Centers conducted a series of events on the occasion of the 18th October - Day of Restoration of Independence

The Ombudsman’s Northern, Southern, Western, and North-West Regional Centers held a series of events on the occasion of the 18th October- Day of Restoration of Independence.

During the events, issues about the adoption of the Constitution Act of the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 18, 1991, and the process of restoring Azerbaijan’s independence were discussed. The national reforms for the protection of human rights and freedoms carried out following the second return to power of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, were also discussed.

At the end of the events, participants’ questions were answered.
