Child Rights Month-Long Campaign of Ombudsman is continued

Annually in November on the initiative of the Ombudsman, Ombudsman Office and it’s Regional Offices, relevant government bodies, local authorities, municipalities and non-governmental organizations in Baku and regions launch awareness-raising events on child rights.

The next such events organized in various places, including by Ganja Regional Office in surrounding regions integrated training boarding gymnasiums, Investigation isolator No.2 under the Ministry of Justice, secondary schools, Heydar Aliyev Center, and villages, where teaching staff, students and parents have taken part as well.

Campaign focused especially on UN CRC provisions and it’s analyzing for children in child-friendly language, Ombudsman’s experience in the relevant field as well as on Hierarchic Child Rights Education Project implemented since 2009 on the initiative of the Ombudsman during training-seminars, open classes, op ends discussions, competitions held within one month.
