Awareness raising events are held within the framework of NPM activity

Head of the Department of Ombudsman, and National Preventive Group Rashid Rumzadeh delivered a lecture on the Activity of Ombudsman on Human Rights and as a National Preventive Mechanism” for persons serving in Medical Service and in Penitentiary mid-level service, as well as for the ones newly recruited in the Academy of Justice.

He gave information about legal reforms held in the country, improvement of legislation, achievements gained in this filed. He also focused on the work of the Commissioner for protection of human rights also as an NPM, her initiatives and proposals, the provision of the Constitutional Law on Ombudsman.
