The Commissioner pays close attention to protection of ecological rights

A seminar dedicated to the International Day of Protection of Environment was held at Leadership School of the Child and Youth Peace Network.

Head of the Department of the Ombudsman Office Faig Aghayev, Ombudsman’s Advisor on ecological rights, Gulnar Rahimova organized the event.

G. Rahimova gave information about ecological rights and duties, current environmental policy of the country and the work done for protection of ecological rights. She also informed participants about the activity of the Commissioner for protection of human rights, particularly ecological rights, cooperation built with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and joint events held in this regard.
