An event dedicated to combating domestic violence was held in Goygol rayon

Ombudsman’s Ganja Regional Center conducted an event on combating domestic violence with participation of the representatives of different state bodies, Rayon Police Department and NGOs in Goygol rayon.

Head of the regional Center, Sabuhi Mammadov noted that the aim of the event is the promotion of the law and other normative documents on combating domestic violence. He informed the participants about the Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, the measures taken by the Ombudsman in this filed, the rules of sending applications to the Ombudsman Office and its regional Centers.

Representatives of Goygol Rayon Police Department and others also shared their views on the topic. Questions of participants were responded.
