The Azerbaijani Ombudsman held a meeting with the Public Defender of Georgia

The Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, held a meeting with Levan İoseliani, the Public Defender of Georgia, in the course of the International Baku Forum of Ombudsmen and NHRIs.

The Commissioner, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in their activities, stated that there are mutual cooperation relations with the Georgian Ombudsman institution in the effective protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens of both countries. The Commissioner also stressed the importance of joint efforts to further strengthen these relations.

In turn, Mr. L. Ioseliani, expressed gratitude for the sincere meeting. During the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
