Publications of the Ombudsman Office were showcased in the X Baku International Book Fair

The 258 publications, including books, booklets, leaflets, posters, and CDs prepared by the Azerbaijan Ombudsman Office in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, and Ukrainian were exhibited in the X Baku International Book Fair held on October 2-8, 2024. 

The educational tools about the protection of the rights of children, rights of persons with disabilities, convicts, migrants, and prevention of domestic violence, right of access to information, and so on, produced by the Office, were showcased in the fair. 

In addition, the showcased printed materials included reports based on the outcomes of the Ombudsman’s fact-finding missions conducted during the Second Karabakh War and aftermath, as well as on the facts of human rights violations and hate crimes committed by Armenia throughout the three-decade occupation of the territories of Azerbaijan.     

During the exhibition, the Ombudsman institution’s displayed eight new educational tools concerning the right to information were incorporated with QR codes.
