The Ombudsman’s South Regional Center held an awareness event in Astara during Child Rights Month-Long Campaign

During the Child Rights Month-Long campaign, run across the country at the initiative of the Ombudsman, the South Regional Center organized an awareness-raising event on the theme “Legal basis of the Ombudsman’s activity in effective protection of children’s rights.” The event has brought together the staff members of the Regional Office, Astara District Executive Authority,  Heydar Aliyev Center, district Education Department, and State Art Gallery. 

The head of the Regional Center, Ziya Ismayilov, informed the participants about the complex activities of the Ombudsman in the field of child rights protection, the Ombudsman’s “916” call center, and other means of appeal.  

The event was continued with discussions, where questions of the participants were answered.
