The Ombudsman visited the social service institution for the elderly

The Ombudsman, Sabina Aliyeva, visited the social service institution for the elderly. 

The Ombudsman got acquainted with the general conditions created for the elderly and had a meeting with the residents in the institution. The Ombudsman said that the protection of the rights of older persons and other socially vulnerable groups of the population is always in her focus, and that, they have been treated with sensitivity.   

The Ombudsman said that the arrangement of this meeting with the residents of the institution on President Ilham Aliyev's birthday is an expression of gratitude to the head of state for his attention and care towards people from vulnerable groups of the population, adding that to spend this cherished day with our elders is very important.

Sabina Aliyeva congratulated the residents of the institution on the upcoming December 31 - World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year and presented them with holiday gifts.
