On the initiative of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, with the joint organization of the Ombudsman Office and the State Border Service (SBS), an event on the topic "Heydar Aliyev and legal state building" was held in the SBS Border Control, which was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
While speaking at the event, Mugalib Mahmudov, the head of Unit at the Department of Cooperation with International and Civil Society Organizations in the Ombudsman Office, said that by returning the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to power at the insistence of the people after restoring the independence of our country, progressive actions have been taken to achieve such higher goals like as statehood, rule of law, democratic and legal state-building, and protection of human rights.
It was noted that the progressive reforms implemented today under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev serve to ensure reliable protection of human rights and citizen satisfaction.
At the end of the event, the questions of the servicemen were answered.
