A Meeting with a People’s Poet Vahid Aziz was held in the Ombudsman Office. 

Expressing her satisfaction with such a meeting, the Human Rights Commissioner, Sabina Aliyeva, said that Vahid Aziz has a broad audience of readers as one of the well-known poets of the modern literature of Azerbaijan and wished him success in his future endeavors. 

The Ombudsman noted that the promotion of our national-moral values is one of the state’s priorities, and that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s utmost interest in the literature and culture of our country,, is today, successfully continued by the country’s President Ilham Aliyev. She also spoke about the benefits of large-scale measures taken to preserve, maintain and develop our national-moral values as well as intangible cultural heritage for our next generations.  

The people’s poet Vahid Aziz, in his turn, thanked the Ombudsman, Sabina Aliyeva, for the organization of the meeting, adding that becoming a tradition of such gatherings and care of figures working in the different fields, such as culture, science, and art stimulates them to create further. 

At the end, Vahid Aziz read his poems for the participants, and interesting dialogue was held.
