Ombudspersons of Azerbaijan and Serbia signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Sabina Aliyeva, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Zoran Pasalić, the Protector of the Republic of Serbia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The objective of the MoU is to exchange experiences and information in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms, strengthen institutional cooperation, and implement awareness-raising activities of mutual interest.

The Ombudsman, Sabina Aliyeva, said that the MoU will facilitate further strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the ombuds institutions of both countries and more effective protection of human rights and freedoms.
