A legal educational event was held for persons with disabilities

The Vocational and Labor Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population hosted an educational event titled "Know Your Rights, Protect Your Rights" during "Human Rights Month." A representative of the Sabunchu district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, as well as center staff and beneficiaries, attended the event.

The event was organized in connection with the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty." 

Mugalib Mahmudov, the Head of the Legal Education Unit of the Ombudsman Office, spoke about human rights and freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution, international treaties ratified, and other normative and legal acts, as well as their protection mechanisms, the human rights reforms, and the Ombudsman's extensive efforts to ensure the social and legal protection of PWDs, one of the most vulnerable demographic groups.
