Ombudsman's representatives participated in an international study tour in Zagreb

Recently, Rashad Novruzov, Counsellor to the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, and Elvin Hajiyev, an employee of the Department for Protection of the Right to Information of the Ombudsman Office, participated in the "Training on Data Protection Practices" held in Zagreb, Croatia.

During the training, presentations were made on international best practices on institutional and regulatory personal data protection and digitalization mechanisms, responsible use of artificial intelligence and its legal framework, cybersecurity frameworks, and complaint handling and resolution mechanisms.

During the event, expert sessions organized by the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency broadly discussed the authority and activities of this institution, including the work done to align it with the local Convention No. 108+.
