A legal awareness event was held within the framework of the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” in Guba

Another legal awareness event was held in the Northern Regional Center of the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty."

Mahir Mammadov, the Head of the Scientific-analytical Unit of the Ombudsman's office, who acted as a trainer at the event, gave detailed information to the participants about the activities carried out by the Ombudsman in the direction of improving national legislation, preparing recommendations and proposals regarding new normative legal act drafts, scientific-analytical work, cooperation with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as studying the positive experience of foreign countries in order to ensure more effective protection of human rights and freedoms.

At the end of the event, discussions were held and questions of the participants were answered.
