The Azerbaijani Ombudsperson participated in the international workshop on "Effective Ombudsmanship for People’s Livelihood"

Sabina Aliyeva, Azerbaijani Ombudsperson, participated in the international workshop on "Effective Ombudsmanship for People’s Livelihood" held in Nanjing, China. 

During her speech in the workshop, the Ombudsperson, Sabina Aliyeva, underlined the developed strategic relations between Azerbaijan and China, and also noted that there are broad opportunities for the deepening of cooperation in the field of protection of human rights.   

The Ombudsman provided comprehensive information about the activities of the Azerbaijani ombuds institution, including available application mechanisms enabling citizens to apply easily and without obstacles, legal awareness-raising activities, and work for the protection of the rights of the vulnerable population groups.     

The presentation made in this international event was received with great interest and highly appreciated by the participating representatives.
