A legal and educational event was held in Naftalan during the “Child Rights Month”

At the initiative of the West Regional Center of the Ombudsperson and in collaboration with the Naftalan Executive Power Authority and the Naftalan City Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,  a legal and educational event entitled “How children understand their rights,” was organized. The event was held at the Naftalan City Secondary School No. 1 during the “Child Rights Month,” declared by the Ombudsman, Sabina Aliyeva. 

The Head of the Regional Center, Sabuhi Abbasov, informed the participants about broad activities carried out by the Ombudsperson for the protection of the children’s rights, as well as mechanisms for appealing to the Ombudsperson, including the “916” Call Center.  

Afterwards, speeches on the topic were heard, and representatives of the relevant institutions answered the students’ questions.
