A book, “Lovers of Victory: Martyrs of Garakilse” (Black Church) with the "Foreword" by Sabina Aliyeva, has been published

A book titled “Lovers of Victory: Martyrs of Garakilse" written by Azada Novruzova, an employee of the Ombudsman Office has been published, and Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsperson contributed to this book by writing the "Foreword."

The "Foreword" provides information about the steps taken to inform the world about the horrific genocide that Armenian nationalists committed against Azerbaijanis at the turn of the century as well as the political and legal analysis of this crime.

It was noted that under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Ilham Aliyev, our brave army fully restored the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our state. As a result of the Second Karabakh War and local anti-terror operations, and our state’s peace policy implemented after the brilliant victory, conditions were created for the return of Azerbaijanis who fled from Armenia to their ancestral lands, ensuring their property and other rights. Under this light, it was underlined that ensuring the safe return of Azerbaijanis who had to live as refugees, along with their families, and getting  compensation for the harm they suffered, are basic rights recognized in international documents.
