The Azerbaijan University of Languages organized a roundtable discussion titled “From Victory to the Future: Protecting Children, Preserving Values” as part of Child Rights Month, announced by Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan.
At the event, Muqalib Mahmudov, Head of the Legal Education Unit of the Ombudsman Office, spoke on the topic “Child Rights Month – A Call to Protect the Future.” Underlining the importance of education in upholding children’s freedoms and rights, the speaker briefed about the efforts undertaken by the Azerbaijani Ombudsperson to protect children’s rights.
Informing citizens about application procedures, M. Mahmudov noted that they can contact the Ombudsman at any time via the 24/7 “916” Call Center.
The event included lively discussions and detailed responses to questions from teachers, students, and education representatives.
