A round table was conducted in the Police Academy during the Child Rights Month

During the Child Rights Month, which was initiated by the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, a round table on “Law violations by juveniles: theoretical and practical problems,” was held in the Ministry of Interior’s Police Academy. 

The academics and lecturers, executive staff of the different units in the Ministry, the representatives of the Khazar District Executive Authority, students and teaching staff of district secondary schools attended the event.  

The junior adviser at the Child Rights Protection Unit of the Ombudsperson’s Office, Azer Isali, had a speech there. When speaking he provided extensive information about the Ombudsperson’s  activities in the protection of the rights of children and juveniles, emphasizing the importance of such a round table organized during this month-long campaign.   

Following the discussions, presentations were made by the cadets of the Academy, and an exchange of views was shared around the topic in question. 

At the end of the event, active pupils were presented gifts.
