A training session was held in the Binagadi Youth House

As part of the "Child Rights Month" announced by the Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, a youth awareness training session was held in the Binagadi Youth House, a social service institution under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Azer Isali, the junior advisor of the Child Rights Protection Unit at the Ombudsperson’s Office, runs a training. The trainees were informed about the regulatory framework for child rights protection, relevant international documents, institutional mechanisms, and the Ombudsman’s activities in this field. Furthermore, the trainer gave an overview of delinquent acts committed by persons under the age of majority, their legal consequences, and effective approaches implemented to prevent such violations.

The training continued with the analysis of various practical situations, during which participants shared their views on the topic. Recommendations were provided to the youth on how to enhance their legal culture. 

At the conclusion of the session, the questions raised by the participants regarding the topic were answered.
