Legal Educational Activities Continue During “Child Rights Month”

As part of the "Child Rights Month" declared by the Azerbaijani Ombudsperson, Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsman’s South Regional Center and the Jalilabad City Executive Authority jointly organized legal education events. The Heydar Aliyev Center and the City Secondary School No. 2 named after National Hero Captain Rashad Abdullayev hosted those events.

During the event, Ziya Ismayilov, Head of the Regional Center, shared information with the participants about the measures taken to ensure children's rights and freedoms in Azerbaijan. He briefed about the Ombudsman’s relevant activities, and explained how to contact the Ombudsman and the “916” Call Center.

Participants were also briefed on the legal frameworks protecting children’s rights and freedoms adopted at the national and international levels. Apart from this, the questions were answered.
