The Ombudsman's regional centers organized legal awareness events on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The Ombudsman’s West and Northwest held regional centers of legal awareness-raising events on the occasion of December 3 - International PWDs Day.

It was noted that protecting the PWDs’ rights is one of the Ombudsman’s main areas of activity and that the Ombudsman also functions as an independent monitoring mechanism to promote the CRPD implementation. The attendees were informed about measures taken to protect the rights of PWDs, social security, rehabilitation, and integration into society. The participants' questions were answered.
