The Commissioner for Human Rights, Sabina Aliyeva, held her next reception of citizens in Baku on 12 and 13 Januray 2026.
The Ombudsman has individually received each citizen who applied for a meeting, and necessary measures were taken on the spot to promptly resolve certain issues. It was noted that other matters requiring investigation will be monitored, and relevant state bodies will be approached to ensure their resolution in accordance with existing legislation.
During the reception, citizens were provided with legal advice. It was also noted that, to handle applications more efficiently and promptly, the Ombudsman Office accepts applications through the “916” Call Center, which operates 24/7, as well as via email, postal mail, fax, and social media.
