The Ombudsman Office of Azerbaijan organized an event dedicated to February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day.
In her opening remarks, Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva said that this remarkable day, established at the initiative of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, represents a high regard and confidence our state has in its youth.
The Ombudsman also noted that, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, purposeful measures are being implemented to ensure the education, intellectual, and physical development of youth, as well as their active participation in socio-political processes.
The Ombudsman pointed out that Azerbaijani youth have consistently shown selflessness at crucial points in the history of our statehood, and their bravery and courage during the Second Karabakh War once again showed everyone how much they love their homeland.
The Ombudsman Office attaches special importance to legal education and involving them in this process, according to Sabina Aliyeva, who also stated that trainings, meetings, and educational activities frequently involve young people.
Then, in their speeches, staff members Veli Guliyev and Hashim Gulamirov, Ombudsman's special scholar, student of Baku State University Nuray Huseynli, Fatima Allahverdiyeva, a young volunteer at the Ombudsman Office, emphasized favorable conditions, established for the development of the youth in the country.
On 2 February- Azerbaijani Youth Day, the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan conveyed a message during the event.
During the event, a video honoring Azerbaijan Youth Day was demonstrated.
