The Ombudsman met with children in the shelter during the "Human Rights Month"

A series of events are implemented during the "Human Rights Month", declared by the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan.

During this month, the Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva visited the Children's Shelter and Reintegration Center operating under the 'Children of Azerbaijan' Public Union.

She had talks with the resident children, inquired about how their rights are ensured, learned their needs, and informed them about their rights and the Ombudsman’s mandates.

The chairperson of the Public Union, Kamala Aghazada, informed the Ombudsman about the center's activities and the measures implemented, and discussed current challenges in the protection of children's rights.

During the meeting, the Ombudsman familiarized themselves with the children's creative skills, and educational publications and gifts prepared by the institution were presented to the
