Participants of the International Baku Ombudsmen Summit Visited the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs

The participants of the International Baku Ombudsmen Summit on the theme "Human Rights in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities, Risks, and Responsibilities," organized at the initiative of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan and dedicated to June 18, Human Rights Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs.

The event participants first arrived at the Alley of Honor, where they honored the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev with deep respect, laid a wreath, and placed fresh flowers at his grave. The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also honored with respect, and fresh flowers were placed on her grave.

The summit participants also visited the Alley of Martyrs, reverently honoring the memory of the heroic children of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of our country, and laid flowers on their graves.

The guests were provided with detailed information about the history of the Alley of Martyrs.
