A MoU Has Been Signed Between the Ombudspersons of Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina

On the margins of the International Baku Ombudsmen Summit, a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held between Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsperson of Azerbaijan, and the Ombudspersons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Nives Jukić, Mr. Nevenko Vranješ, and Ms. Jasminka Džumhur.

The main purpose of signing the MoU is to exchange experience and information between the institutions in the field of protection of human rights, strengthen institutional cooperation, and implement awareness-raising activities in areas of mutual interest.

Ombudsperson Ms. Sabina Aliyeva noted that the signed MoU will create opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between the ombuds institutions of both countries and for more effective protection of human rights and freedoms.
