Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, and Siniša Bjeković, the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the amidst the International Baku Ombudsmen Summit.
The Memorandum serves to expand cooperation between the institutions in the field of human rights protection, strengthen joint practical and academic research activities, and conduct awareness-raising initiatives in areas of current relevance to both parties.
Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva emphasized that the signed Memorandum of Understanding will foster the further strengthening of cooperative ties between the ombudsman institutions of both nations and pave the way for a more effective protection of human rights and freedoms.
