The North West Regional Center of the Ombudsman organized events in observance of June 1-World Children's Day

On the occasion of World Children's Day on June 1, the Ombudsman’s North-West Regional Center conducted monitoring visits to Shaki City Integrated Training Boarding Type Gymnasium and Shaki Mixed Type Children's Home.

During the visits, classrooms, kitchens and canteens, food warehouses, dormitories for boys and girls, medical centers, sanitary junctions, bathrooms, laundries, and gyms were inspected, and the situation of children's rights was monitored.

Furthermore, the Regional Center organized educational events on human rights for teachers and students in the noted institutions, as well as in the Shaki City full secondary No. 3. During the events, the participants were briefed about the Ombudsman’s mandate and actions in the field of child rights protection.
