On June 1, World Children's Day, the Ombudsman's Southern Regional Center launched legal education activities

In honor of June 1st, World Children's Day, the Ombudsman's Southern Regional Center hosted a series of events on the theme "Care for children is care for the future of the people" in the special boarding school for children with disabilities, the mixed-type boarding school named after O. Mirzayev in Lankaran City, and the full secondary school named after A. Mammadov in the Öncegala village, Masalli District.

The head of the Ombudsman’s Southern Regional Center, Z. Ismayilov, greeted the children and congratulated them on behalf of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva.

Z. Ismayilov gave broad information to the event participants on the activities carried out in this field, noting that special attention is paid to the protection of children's rights in the activities of the Ombudsman.

Aside from the requirements resulting from the international treaties by which our state is bound, information regarding the national legislation on the protection of children's rights was also delivered at the events.
