The Ombudsman's Northern Regional Center held legal awareness events in connection with June 1, World Children's Day

During "Human Rights Month," traditionally held between May 18 and June 18, on the initiative of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, her Northern Regional Center organized awareness events related to June 1, World Children's Day.

At the events organized in the Mirzagishlag village secondary school, Guba city Full Secondary Boarding School for Children Deprived of Parental Care, and Special Vocational School, the head of the Regional Center, Bahruz Efendiyev, congratulated the children on behalf of the Ombudsman on the occasion of June 1, World Children's Day. Speaking about the significance of this day, which aims to globally increase awareness about the protection and development of children, he also pointed out that the protection of children's rights is one of the main directions of the Ombudsman's activity.

During the events, broad information was provided on the provisions established in national and international documents on children's rights and the activities of the Ombudsman institution in the field of ensuring children's rights.
