On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and on the initiative of Sabina Aliyeva, the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, in the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Justice Penitentiary Service, a city tour for two juveniles who were rehabilitated in the correctional facility to the city's historical and cultural landmarks, recreation facilities, and public catering facilities was organized.
Initially, the Ombudsman paid a visit to the grave of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev together with the children to express her deep respect for his memory. Then, the Alley of Martyrs was visited, and the eternal memory of our martyrs who had fallen for the territorial integrity of our state was commemorated.
As a part of the program aimed at studying the legacy of Heydar Aliyev and instilling patriotic feelings, as well as the adaptation of juveniles to society, visits of juveniles to the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Military Trophy Park were organized.
Later, the Ombudsman had lunch with the juveniles, informed them about the legacy of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, his honorable life path, and his role in the history of our country, and also gave them her recommendations for protecting their rights, education, professional habits, and rehabilitation.
In the end, an entertaining program was organized for children to spend their free time effectively.
