Representatives of the Ombudsman met with women and children repatriated from Syria

Necessary measures are being taken by the state to repatriate citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan from Syria and Iraq to the country.

On November 24, 2022, 16 people, including 13 children and 3 women accompanied by a delegation of relevant state institutionswere repatriated from Syria to the country.

Representatives of the ombudsman met with those persons placed in the social service institution of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, inquired about theirsituationandsychological condition, received information about measures taken with regard to their rehabilitation and learned the situation of ensuring of their rights.
