The Ombudsman's Regional Centers held legal and educational events dedicated to 'Constitution Day'

During Child Rights Month, the Regional Centers of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, namely Western, North-West, Northern, and Southern Regional Centers organized events on the occasion of November 12 - Constitution Day.

Relevant legal and educational events were held at the Integrated Training Boarding-Type Gymnasium named after the martyr Orkhan Jabbarov located in the city of Govlar, Tovuz district, in the village of Beyuk Dahna of the Sheki district, at the secondary school No. 2 in Guba city, as well as at the Southern Regional Center.

Students of the above-noted educational institutions, volunteers of Masalli ASAN Service Center, employees of local executive and local self-government bodies, and residents participated in the events.

During the events, the participants were given detailed information about the historical feedback of the Constitution of Azerbaijan, the large-scale democratic and legal reforms launched in this direction in our country, as well as the multifaceted activities of the Ombudsman in the field of ensuring human rights and freedoms.

It was also brought to attention that the Ombudsman gives an important place to cooperation with state institutions, international organizations, and local NGOs in the relevant field.

In the end, the questions of the participants were answered and discussions were held on the topic.
