Ombudsman's Regional Centers held events dedicated to the Victory and State Flag Days

Ombudsman’s Regional Centers held a number of events on the occasion of the 8th November-Victory Day and 9th November- State Flag Day of Azerbaijan in the districts and cities they covered.  

On this occasion, the Ombudsman’s Northern Regional Center held joint events with the Guba District  Heydar Aliyev Center and Youth Development and Career Center District Branch. The events brought together families of martyrs, veterans, active young people, and a wide audience.

The head of the Western Regional Center of the Ombudsman Sabuhi Abbasov took part in the holiday event dedicated to the 8th November- Victory Day held in Ganja Sport Lyceum. The veterans of the patriotic War, as well as veterans of the First Karabakh War and the Second World War, attended this event. At the end of the event, veterans and the head of the Ombudsman’s Western Regional Center have been presented certificates of honor in the holiday event held on the occasion of Victory Day.

Alike, the Ombudsman’s Southern Regional center also organized events dedicated to the Victory and State Flag Days.

As well as on the occasion of these days, the Ombudsman’s North-West Regional Center launched events in Lahic village of Zagata district, in Sheki State Regional College, and Mingachevir Regional NGOs Resource and Training Center, which were attended by representatives of various stakeholders, veterans of the Patriotic War, residents, teaching staff and students.

During speeches, it was spoken about the historical victory gained by the Azerbaijani military under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief. ?t was noted that our three-colored flag waving in our liberated historical territories arouses a sense of pride in the heart of every Azerbaijani.

Furthermore, the participants were informed about the investigations into Armenia’s war crimes and serious breaches of international human rights and humanitarian law conducted by the Ombudsperson during the patriotic war.
