The Ombudsman and the staff of the Office visited the Second Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of Victory Day

Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan, Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, and employees of the Office visited the Second Alley of Martyrs on the eve of Victory Day.

During the memorial ceremony, S. Aliyeva made a speech, expressed her condolences to the martyrs’ families, and wished them patience. She stressed that our heroic and brave army, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief, liberated our lands from occupation and restored historical justice.

The Ombudsman emphasized the exceptional services of our martyrs in achieving Victory in the Patriotic War and said that they will live forever in the memory of the Azerbaijani people.

The Ombudsman and the staff of the Office honored the souls of the martyrs of the Patriotic War with deep respect and laid flowers on their graves. Prayers were read for the dear souls of the martyrs.
