Ombudsman's representative participated in the commemoration event dedicated to martyred ensign Rafail Ishiyev

The Head of the Ombudsman’s Southern Regional Center Mr. Ziya Ismayilov participated in the commemoration event dedicated to the birthday of martyred ensign Rafail Ishiyev in the Jalilabad District Heydar Aliyev Center.

The Head of the Regional Center noted that the ensign Rafail Ishiyev, who was posthumously awarded the medals “For the Motherland”, “For the Liberation of Shusha”, “For the Liberation of Khojavand”, had also taken part in the April Battles. It was added that he became a martyr showing heroism and bravery in the battles fought to liberate the Khojavand district on 3 November 2020.

The speech also highlighted the special care shown by the Ombudsman Ms. Sabina Aliyeva for the protection of the rights of martyrs' families and war veterans.

In the end, a spectacle entitled "Forgive me, Mom", which was dedicated to the 43rd birth anniversary of the martyr Ishiyev Rafail Ahmadaga, was performed.
