Ombudsman and staff of the institution joined the tree-planting campaign

The next tree-planting campaign as a part of the “Green Marathon” initiated by Ms. Leyla Aliyeva, the Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as well as a founder and head of the IDEA Public Union was held in Khojasen settlement on the 16^th April 2022.  

The Ombudsman, Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, and her staff also joined this campaign, which was organized in joint collaboration with the IDEA Public Union and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

During the campaign, more than 1,000 Eldar pines and olive trees were planted on 2 hectares in accordance with the soil and climatic conditions of the Absheron Peninsula.

It should be noted that the IDEA Public Union, which intends to continue its efforts to protect and increase greenery in our country, calls on the public and its partners to take an active part in the fight for the protection of our planet and environmental measures.
